Data Deletion Instructions

To request deletion of your data from Right Away, email support@rightaway.me from the email address or phone number associated with your account, with the subject line “Data deletion request”.

What happens next

1. We confirm receipt of your request within 2 business days.
2. We verify your identity as the account holder (or, for a business’s customer, as the person the phone number belongs to).
3. We delete the requested data from our active systems within 30 days, and from backups on their normal rotation schedule.
4. We confirm by email once deletion is complete.

What this does not affect

Deleting your data from Right Away does not delete data held directly by Meta/WhatsApp or Google on their own platforms — those requests go to Meta and Google directly. It also does not override a legal obligation to retain certain records for a defined period, where one applies.
